Subscription & refund terms
These terms describe Tin Badger, operated by SS Mechanical LLC at www.tin-badger.com. Product, cancellation and refund support is provided by email at rich@thechillypig.com. Business correspondence: SS Mechanical LLC, Tin Badger, PO Box 8032, Cocoa, FL 32924.
Current website and future availability
The website currently offers information and demonstrations only. Customer access and checkout are disabled. Viewing this page does not create a subscription or authorize a payment. The subscription provisions below apply only when the paid service opens and you choose to subscribe.
Who may subscribe
When launched, subscriptions will initially be offered to users age 18 or older residing in the United States. HVAC technicians, adult students and apprentices, and adult DIY users may subscribe; business ownership or professional employment is not required. A subscription does not provide training certification, licensing, or approval of an installation. Users must have the skills and tools needed to carry out the work safely and obtain qualified assistance when needed.
What the subscription provides
The planned service provides supported ductboard layout calculations, illustrated instructions and cutting demonstrations for straight duct, elbows, offsets and reducers. It is an automated software product; materials, tools, installation, custom design and individual fabrication coaching are not included.
Enter finished inside dimensions. Tin Badger calculates fabrication marks; it does not calculate airflow or select duct sizes. Use supported 1½″ ductboard with AmCraft Red 1084 / Blue 1087 tools, a tape, square, straightedge and duct knife; reducer work also requires the specified angle/level setup. Follow the full plan and its checks. Some dimensions and short, steep reducers cannot be supported. 2″ board and one-piece transitions are not currently supported.
You are responsible for accurate inputs, suitability for the job, safe tool use, material condition and compliance with installation requirements. Do not substitute guessed marks when the app reports an unsupported fitting or inconsistent result; contact us.
Price, billing and renewal
$5 USD/month. Cancel anytime. No public free trial. The planned base subscription price is $5 USD per monthly billing period, plus applicable tax displayed before purchase. If checkout offers a local-currency price, review the currency and total shown before authorizing payment. Billing starts after successful checkout and renews monthly until canceled. No subscription begins simply by visiting the information website.
You must review the purchase total, recurring charge and terms before completing checkout. We will disclose any proposed price change before it takes effect so you can cancel before the changed renewal. Account access is personal to the subscriber; keep sign-in credentials secure and do not resell access or redistribute the service.
Canceling renewal
For a Managed Payments purchase, use the subscription-management instructions in your Link receipt or Link account to stop renewal. You may also email rich@thechillypig.com for assistance. The prepared Tin Badger account will offer a billing-management link; it is not available on the information-only website today.
Cancellation stops future renewals. Access continues through the paid period unless that period is fully refunded or access is restricted for a dispute or misuse. Cancellation alone does not refund the current period. Send an assistance request before renewal when possible; automated billing management provides the direct cancellation path.
Refunds
Payments are generally nonrefundable for change of mind, including the initial subscription payment. There is no free trial or money-back guarantee. Cancellation stops future renewals and access continues through the paid period, subject to the refund and access provisions below.
If you believe a charge is duplicate or incorrect, or an unresolved access problem prevents you from using the paid service, contact us so we can investigate and address the issue, including a correction or refund where appropriate. These cases are considered separately from change-of-mind requests.
Send a refund request to rich@thechillypig.com with your purchase email, payment date and a short description. Do not send full card details. This policy does not limit refunds or other remedies required by applicable law or available under applicable Stripe/Link Managed Payments rules. We do not promise a bank posting time.
A full refund removes the paid access associated with that payment after the service reconciles it; a partial refund does not automatically remove that period. Refunding a payment and canceling future renewal are separate operations. If you want both, request both. Already saved PDFs and calculations in an already-open browser tab cannot be recalled.
Stripe Managed Payments
The planned checkout uses Stripe Managed Payments, with Link as the customer-facing merchant of record. Stripe/Link handles transaction support and applicable indirect taxes in supported jurisdictions. SS Mechanical LLC supplies the software and handles product issues. Payment-related assistance is available through Link support.
Stripe/Link can issue refunds under its own rules, including certain requests within 60 days of a transaction. Our change-of-mind policy cannot restrict that authority or mandatory customer rights. The 60-day window is not a general money-back guarantee from Tin Badger. Account activation alone does not establish that every product, country or transaction qualifies for Managed Payments.
Failed payments and access
A failed payment does not purchase a new access period. Access remains available for any existing paid period; after that expires, new protected page requests require a successful payment or an authorized access extension. Payment recovery restores access after payment confirmation is reconciled. An unresolved dispute or misuse review may restrict access; email us if you believe a restriction is incorrect.
An internet connection is required to open or reload protected lessons and unloaded media. An already-open lesson may keep calculating without reception or after its access period ends. This is not a fully offline application. Documents you already saved remain on your device. Availability and results are not guaranteed in every browser or job condition.

We will notify subscribers of material subscription changes before they apply. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
